I can't believe it took me so long to get around to it - this movie is right up my alley. (That is, the 'war movies are super interesting and look relationships under pressure and also stuff blows up!' alley.) I really liked it quite a lot - definitely one I would watch again. I liked all of the three main guys, but found James fascinating. ( Unsurprisingly, this ends in a zombie AU. )
